Apple released a new version of OS X a few days ago and selling digital copies, many have trouble reinstalling because temporarily stored, and an update is deleted. This may create a bootable USB Mountain Lion to use whenever they want or if they want to do a clean install of the operating system.

Steps To Install

  1. First you have to download OS X Mountain Lion from the App Store, and once it has finished downloading you should go to the folder Applications and identify the newly downloaded folder: Installer OS X Lion Mountain.
  2. Open Lion DiskMaker and choose which version they want to create OS X (obviously have to choose Mountain Lion). If the app does not detect the installation files are going to have to place them by hand. Then select the USB device that are intended to create the bootable.
  3. Wait a few minutes and go.

Now to boot from USB on OS X have to press the Option just turn on the computer and select the USB device.

For reasons of speed interface, install OS X from USB is much faster than from a DVD, so in a while have his new Mountain Lion installed on your computer.

NOTE: The USB device must be at least 8GB and be careful because the data are stored are deleted.
